Water pump Magale
Sec. School
In februari 2012 the water pump for
Magale Secondary School was ready. The
students have finally fresh drinking
water!
For now we have one remaining water
project running: “community of Kambiri”.
Our Dutch foundation member Rene de
Vries had a meeting with the American
sponsors of the water pumps: The Water
Project. They are the main sponsors of
the water pumps. The meeting took place
in Kakamega, one day after the pump for
Magale was officially opened.

Special Girls' Secondary School
We started to write a proposal for a
special school. We work together with
several Kenyan women on this project:
Rose, Rosemary, Celine and Mercyline. We
hope to be able to start the project
during Summer 2012.
The Dutch Foundation Friends For Life
is willing to give scholarships to
several young women who will be part of
our future school. We want to think this
Dutch Foundation very much for their
co-operation.
During the summer of 2012, our Secretary
will will our projects and will have a
meeting with the local co-workers of the
Foundation "Friends For Life".
